These Terms of Service govern your use of the TapGain mobile application, operated by Rams Mudale LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("TapGain," "we," "us," or "our").
By using TapGain, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the app.
By downloading, installing, or using TapGain ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
TapGain is currently provided free of charge as an informational tool that displays your cards sorted by their listed rate so you can compare them across spending categories. The App may filter results based on your chosen card type preference (Cash Back or Points), which is selected during onboarding and can be changed using the Cash Back / Points toggle on the Recommend screen. TapGain is not a financial institution, card issuer, or licensed financial advisor.
License Grant. Subject to these Terms, Rams Mudale LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on compatible devices that you own or control, solely in accordance with these Terms and applicable platform terms. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
The information provided by TapGain is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, or credit advice. You should not rely solely on alerts shown by the App when making financial decisions. Always verify current card rates and terms directly with your card issuer before making purchase decisions.
While we strive to keep card rate information accurate, TapGain makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed in the App. Card rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change by card issuers at any time without notice to us.
Participating businesses may pay to display offers in the Offers tab. Offer participation does not affect how cards are sorted or displayed. References to "partners" or "partner offers" within the App or on our website are marketing terms describing participating businesses and do not imply any legal partnership, agency, or endorsement relationship between Rams Mudale LLC and any business. Offer availability varies by location and participating businesses. Offers do not represent guarantees of discounts or transaction outcomes. Always confirm details directly with the business.

TapGain is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bank, card issuer, or payment network including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Citi, or Chase.
Logos and trademarks of third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used for informational identification purposes only. Card names and trademarks are used solely for identification and comparison purposes.
TapGain compares and displays your saved cards using their listed rates. Listed rates, categories, and terms may change at any time by the card issuer and may not always reflect the latest updates.
TapGain does not guarantee reward earnings, savings, or financial outcomes. Always verify listed rates and benefits directly with your card issuer.
TapGain is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Rams Mudale LLC does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any information displayed in the App is accurate, complete, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rams Mudale LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, including but not limited to lost rewards, inaccurate card alerts, or reliance on information displayed in the App. To the extent any liability is found despite the foregoing, Rams Mudale LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed $100.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rams Mudale LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using TapGain at any time by uninstalling the App. Your card list and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to your device's operating system and backup settings. Operational server logs are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights you may have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices — Consumer Protection Act (DTPA) or other applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract. The limitations and disclaimers in these Terms apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
If you downloaded TapGain from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for TapGain or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for TapGain. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service, Apple's terms shall govern with respect to your use of the App Store. If you downloaded TapGain from Google Play, your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for TapGain or its content. Google has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for TapGain. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service, Google's terms shall govern with respect to your use of Google Play.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rams Mudale LLC regarding your use of TapGain and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on that subject.
TapGain includes two separate optional location features: Location Alerts, which show store alerts while the App is open, and Smart Alerts, which may use background location and local notifications when the App is in the background. Location access and both features are optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time in the App or device settings. Granting a native location or notification permission does not by itself enable an in-app feature; you must explicitly enable the relevant feature in TapGain. If you force-quit TapGain, iOS may stop background location activity until you reopen the App.
Location coordinates are rounded before transmission and are not stored in TapGain's application database or linked to your identity. TapGain may store limited temporary state on your device to support Smart Alert behavior; this information is not used for tracking, profiling, or identity association and can be removed by resetting app data. TapGain may use on-device motion information as needed to support Smart Alert functionality and reduce unnecessary notifications. Motion data is processed on-device and is not sent to TapGain servers or retained as user history.
